The Philippine Science High School System, an attached agency of the Department of Science and Technology is inviting applicants for the following positions for

Director III (Salary Grade 27) for

PSHS-Ilocos Region Campus (San Ildefonso, Ilocos Sur),
PSHS-Central Luzon Campus (Clark, Angeles City, Pampanga)
and PSHS-Cordillera Administrative Region Campus (Baguio City)

Qualifications

1. General qualifications

• Filipino citizen, with good moral character; With no pending administrative, civil or criminal case; Preferably 35-50 years old

2. Educational qualifications

• At least Master’s degree in the sciences, mathematics, engineering or science education; Other respectable academic credentials such as professional recognition, research or creative accomplishments

3. Professional experience and accomplishments

• Administrative or managerial experience in planning, organizing, staffing, directing and controlling academic programs; Proven leadership qualities/potential in initiating and implementing programs; Established networking or linkages in current or previous position

4. Vision and Plans for PSHS

• Short-listed applicants will be requested to write a statement of their vision and plans for the PSHS

Job Description

The Campus Director shall be the administrative and academic head of his/her campus and will be responsible for its smooth operations. The CD may constitute a consultative body which may act as a citizen’s arm to interpret the educational needs of the service area of the campus.
