INVITATION TO APPLY FOR ELIGIBILITY AND TO BID
PROJECT: PROCUREMENT OF UTILITY VEHICLE FOR THE PSHS MAIN CAMPUS

PHILIPPINE SCIENCE HIGH SCHOOL (PSHS) MAIN CAMPUS intends to apply the amount of ONE MILLION PESOS (1,000,000.00) being the Approved Budget for the Contract (ABC) to payments for the Procurement of Utility Vehicle for the PSHS Main Campus. Bids in excess of the ABC shall automatically be rejected at the bid opening.
PSHS Main Campus now invites sealed bids from eligible bidders for utility vehicles. The description of an eligible bidder is contained in Section II of the Bid Documents, Instructions to Bidders (ITB)
Bidding will be conducted through open competitive bidding procedures using non-discretionary pass/fail criteria as specified in the IRR Part A (IRR-A) of Republic Act No. 9184 (RA 9184), otherwise known as the Government Procurement Reform Act. Only bids from bidders who pass eligibility check will be opened. The process for the eligibility check is described in Section II of the Bid Documents, ITB. The bidder with the lowest calculated bid (LCB) shall advance to the post qualification stage in order to finally determine his responsiveness to the Technical and Financial requirements of the project. The contract shall then be awarded to the Lowest Calculated and Responsive Bid (LCRB) who will be determined as such during the post-qualification procedure.
Interested Bidders may obtain further information from PSHS Main at the address given below on January 14-22, 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.. Bids and eligibility requirements must be delivered at the address below on or before February 5, 2008 at 1:30 p.m. All bids must be accompanied by a Bid Security in the form of cash, certified check, cashier’s check, bank draft or irrevocable letter of credit from any reputable bank in the amount of PHP 15,000.00 or a surety bond callable on demand by the PSHS Main in the amount equivalent at least PHP 25,000.00 Late bids shall not be accepted.
Bid opening shall be on February 5, 2008 at 1:30 p.m. at the ASTB Conference Room, PSHS Main Campus. Bids will be opened in the presence of bidders’ representatives who choose to attend at the address below.
The PSHS Main Campus reserves the right to accept or reject any bid, and to annul the bidding process and reject all bids at any time prior to the contract award, without thereby incurring any liability to the affected Bidder or Bidders.
