The Philippine Science High School – Central Visayas Campus (PSHS – CVisC), through its Bids and Awards Committee (BAC), invites suppliers/distributors to apply for eligibility and to bid for the purchase for the hereunder project: Name of Project : PURCHASE OF FIFTEEN (15) SETS OF COMPUTER UNITS Location : PSHS – CVisC, Talaytay, Argao, Cebu Description : Dual Core E2160 1.8 Ghz; 1MB L2 Cache, 800 MHz, 64 – bit architecture Approved Budget : Php 465,000.00 Delivery Period : Within 15 calendar days Specifications Asustek Mboard w/ AVL; 1 GB DDR2 533 Memory; 160 GB HDD 7200 rpm SATA; DVD Writer OEM; 15” AOC LCD Monitor; ATX casing P4 with 500 W power supply; Classic Keyboard; Optical mouse with pad, PS2; Headset with mic; 500 W AVR, 110 V / 250 V; Operating System: Windows XP Pro SP2 Prospective bidders should have experience in undertaking a similar project within the last two (2) years with an amount of at least 50% of the proposed project for bidding. The Eligibility Check as well as the Preliminary Examination of Bids shall use non-discretionary “pass/fail” criteria. Post – qualification of the lowest calculated bid shall be conducted All particulars relative to Eligibility Statement and Screening, Bid Security, Performance Security, Pre-Bidding Conference(s), Evaluation of Bids, Post-Qualification and Award of Contract shall be governed by the pertinent provisions of R.A. 9184 and its Implementing Rules and Regulation (IRR). Activities and Schedule are the following: Issuance of Bid Documents- January 18, 2008 – February 8, 2008 Pre-bid Conference-February 01, 2008 @ 10:00 AM PSHS – CVisC Libary Submission and Opening of Bids-February 15, 2008 @ 2:00 PM Submission of Bids to be dropped in the bid box at CVisC Library Opening of Bids at the CVisC Dormitory, 1st Floor Boys Wing Bid Evaluation-February 18, 2008 Post-Qualification-February 19-21, 2008 Notice of Award-February 22, 2008 Bid documents will be available only to prospective bidders upon payment to the PSHS – CVisC cashier of a non-refundable amount of Five Hundred Pesos (Php 500.00) only. PSHS – CVisC assumes no responsibility whatsoever to compensate or indemnify bidders for any expenses incurred in the preparation of the bid.
