There have been several suspension of classes due to typhoons and AH1N1. Here are related guidelines for parents and students.
Suspension of classes declared by the Office of the President, Department of Science and Technology (DOST), Department of Education(DepEd), National Disaster Coordinating Council(NDCC) or the mayor of the city are automatically followed by the school. Announcements from the campus is no longer necessary.
The Director of the campus may also suspend classes for various reasons. In such cases, the announcements are made through the website, batch advisers and the registrar's office. Parents may call the Registrar's office at 9240614 to verify.
Due to the AH1N1 precaution and the seasonal illnesses that we have in the country, students who are not feeling well should stay at home. Upon return the student must bring an excuse slip from his/her parents or a medical certificate (in case of long absence).
The student will be given ample time by the school to make up on missed requirements once he/she has returned to the school. We discourage the sending of requirements during the absence unless a previous arrangement was made to submit the requirements online directly to the subject teachers. This is to ensure that the student gets enough rest to recover from the illness. Parents are not allowed to roam around the campus to submit the requirements. These can be submittedby the student on his/her return.
Please be guided accordingly. |
